Up and Down

Haf u ever haf the wonderful feeling of being brought up to heaven, and wif onli a short time to enjoy, b4 dropped all the way down from the sky to the ground in a matter of seconds, landed wif a loud thud, wif interal organs crashed into bits and pieces..??

Smoky xmas!!!

Christmas eve... juz 24 hrs b4 the grand christmas day.. but wats so great bout christmas day? i'm not christian, and xmas day is sort of like an angmoh day of celebration... but its juz a public holiday, a reason for the rest of us to celebrate like the rest of the world -- shopping, enjoying the xmas atmosphere and of cos opening presents sent right to ur doorstep, or ur xmas tree, or beside ur bed, or watever means, by the legendary "Santa Claus"!!!
But alas, i haf to push off two appointments to celebrate xmas, juz bcos i haf already agreed wif my jc classmate to work part-time as a waiter at some pub... it turned out to b the old Canto, from wat i hear, at marina bay.... u noe, the place where countless outdoor steamboat eateries are... inside was juz like disco, or nightclub i would say, complete wif ktv rooms... people, mostly above 30s, would stroll in wif their female companions and other "lao-bengs", enjoy the 'live' band on a small stage, not to mention ordering expensive beer and wine, such as VSOP, Chivas, or juz red wine... den they would party all the way to 5 am... my job is to patrol from table to table in an area, juz to take any orders, clear any empty glassware or help customers refill their liquor, amidst the loud band music and cigarette smoke... so tiring, frm juz walking non-stop to and fro about the same bloody area for 10 fucking hours... i even set hourly alarm on my handphone to motivate myself... tis is gonna b the 1st and the last time i'm doing tat... is tat all worth it for $10 per hour ??!!

Relationships on TV

i seldom watch tv nowadays, but in the past, i am sort of a couch potato b4 i became a gaming addict.. following up on soap serials and drama shows and laughing myself to cartoons and sitcoms haf been a great deal of fun... i do continue to watch tv though, especially for those comedy types or uniquely entertaining ones... but the main point of this blog is how relationships of ppl shown on tv drama serials CAN actually related to real life... when u actually watch the long winded serials on tv, u may think tat "Aiya, fake one lah.. u think will happen to real life meh???" but if u look closely at ppl around u, u may happen to b the audience to a drama serial shown right in front of ur own eyes...

i happen to b the audience two days ago, when my army friend, jinki who went australia to study came back during his exam holidays and invite mi out to accompany him to buy computer games... i gladly accepted, cos he always mentioned to mi bout his active life in the campus in australia, especially his relationships wif his campus mates... juz like my fren, they r born in singapore, so they r like more close to each other and often depend on one another in australia... tats where the realtionship thing started, as jinki recalled the 错综复杂 relationships to mi, like who break up wif who, who having crushes wif my fren, y jinki wants to remain 忠厚老实 despite so many "distractions"... haha, it's so fun hearing him reminiscing these kinds of events to mi, and i try my best to advise him on wat to do, on the fact tat 旁观者清 and they really occur to mi as drama serials on tv... A new perspective is good, jinki says, and i hope all the best to him too!!

Crazy

i'm going crazy bout my computers, both home and hostel... been a lot of problems, such as never-ending viruses, spyware, unknown stuff appearing in my folders... tink tats the result of using pirated windows xp and not using anti-virus software... tink haf to invest in them liao, i juz can't live without my computer, whether it's for work or gaming... actually more for the latter.. :p anyone has any lobang???

Truly slacking

sorry i had been slacking in my blogging.. u'r right, i'm a slacker anyway.. its not bcos i'm too busy to blog, in fact it's exactly the opposite!!! well, i'm still going for the General Elective lectures, but i'm always trying to 'siam' my trainings, haha... i juz wanna enjoy my holidays, enjoy my time here, want to spend my time sleeping and gaming.. life has indeed no aim for mi now, at least for now, b4 my next sem starts... when the games coming !?!?!? anyway i am bout to haf CSI season 1 and 2 DVD soon... yeah!! ask mi go out, ask mi go out leh!!!
